Candles are easy to use, and following some simple burning etiquettes ensures they last longer and burn evenly to the base.

• Each time you light your candle, burn it for at least 60 minutes. This allows the wax to melt across the entire surface, reaching the edges. If the surface doesn’t fully melt, the candle “remembers” its limited melting area and will continue burning within that small circle, creating a tunnel. Before re-lighting it, trim the wick to 1/4 inch.

• While the candle is burning, always hold the jar below the level of the flame. The jars are heat-resistant, so the area beneath the burning wax remains safe and comfortable to hold.

• If melted wax spills on your skin, don’t panic. Rinse the affected area immediately with cold water or ice. While our candles are made with 100% soy wax, they are not massage candles, and direct use on skin is not recommended.

• This candle is housed in a Silver electroplated jar. A gentle patina may develop over time, particularly during burning — a natural trait of authentic Silver finishes that adds to its character.

•Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets. Our candles burn best indoors, as outdoor wind can disturb the flame and affect burn quality.

• Before the first burn, high quality soy wax candles have a tendency to neatly pop out of the jar they are manufactured in. This does not affect the candle’s quality, fragrance, or performance. However, these candles are intentionally crafted as container candles and should always be used inside the jar, not as standalone pillar candles.

• Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Always keep a burning candle within sight and never leave it unattended or burn it while sleeping. Candle safety is extremely important and should never be overlooked.
